Success Story: A Marine's Victory in the Appeal Process

"I proudly served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps during Desert Shield and Desert Storm, participating in the Battle of Khafji and the Liberation of Kuwait. However, my service left me with significant disabilities, and my journey to receive the benefits I deserved was long and arduous. For more than eight years, I fought against the VA for a fair disability rating, facing numerous obstacles and denials. Despite my persistence, I felt overwhelmed and disheartened, fearing that I might never receive the support I needed. That's when Attorney Katrina Eagle and her dedicated team stepped in. From the moment Katrina took on my case, I knew I was in capable hands. She brought an unwavering commitment and a wealth of expertise to my appeal, meticulously reviewing my records and crafting a compelling case on my behalf. Katrina's deep understanding of the VA system and her strategic approach were game-changers. She tirelessly advocated for me, ensuring that every detail of my service and its impact on my health was thoroughly documented and presented. Her persistence and legal acumen made all the difference. Thanks to Katrina Eagle's relentless efforts, I am now recognized with a 100% disability rating. This decision has transformed my life, providing me with the support and resources I need to manage my health and well-being. It has also given me a sense of justice and acknowledgement for my sacrifices. Katrina and her team didn't just win my case; they restored my faith in the system and gave me hope for the future. I am profoundly grateful for their dedication and professionalism. If you are a veteran struggling with the VA appeal process, I highly recommend reaching out to Katrina Eagle and her Law Office. Their commitment to veterans is unparalleled, and their success in my case speaks volumes about their capability and compassion."

Katrina Is Passionate And A Fierce Advocate!

"Beginning February 2021 (three months after my husband passed from cholangiocarcinoma), I began the process of filing for DIC following the VA website guide. Several denials later, in December 2022, I learned about Katrina Eagle. I submitted the online information form on her website. Within 48 hours, she called me and we spent nearly an hour reviewing Jim's case. From that call and going forward, I felt such a sense of calm. Just knowing I now had an experienced advocate in my corner was a huge relief. Once Katrina was on the case, I never had to deal with any communication with VA. Everything went through her; I would receive copies. She gave me her contact info and I was encouraged to call anytime I had any questions. There were so many background mistakes VA had already made in my claim (things I would never have been aware of). Katrina responded to those mistakes immediately (One incredulous example: VA wanted me to provide proof of my husband's exposure to Agent Orange. However, one year prior, VA had already sent me a detailed form validating proof of his AO exposure). Throughout all this time, Katrina kept in close touch with updates as she became aware of info, or just to check up to see how I was doing, all the while being very positive. Finally in March 2024, I received a call from her that has impacted my world -- calling to let me know my DIC claim was finally approved -- three years after starting the process. Five words of advice to survivors who have filed for benefits and received denial: 'have patience' and 'contact Katrina Eagle.' She is a godsend, passionate, and a fierce advocate in her relentless pursuit of getting the right thing for our service families."

A Warrior For Your Cause

"I served in the military from 1968 to 1972 which included two Vietnam tours. I started experiencing medical issues not long after I was discharged in 1972. Frankly, I did not even consider going to VA for my medical issues nor did I think VA would allow scheduling doctor visits. I paid cash for my appointments, treatments and medicines. It wasn't until 1980 that I was in a position to obtain medical insurance through my employer. Fast forward thirty years, in 2010, after my premiums got unaffordable. At that time, I was told the VA would extend health care for Vietnam era veterans. I made an appointment with the VSO in my county and was quickly placed in the VA healthcare system. At the same time the VSO and I filled out forms for VA disability compensation for an extensive list of medical issues I was experiencing since my discharge. In hindsight, I should have involved the VA from the beginning so that I would have had an earlier trail of my medical conditions recorded with VA. My claim was denied in 2010 and several more attempts with additional backup, pictures, and buddy letters which failed to approve my appeal. I decided to give up on the process. I was convinced my paperwork with all my supporting documents would fill in the gaps VA needed. I was devastated and beaten. I don't remember how I got the name of Katrina Eagle of the Veterans Law Office. I think it was 2017 when I made the 'Hail Mary' call and got a recording that I would be contacted the next day. BANG! The returned call from Katrina. She spent time listening to my story and requested I send her office all my correspondence and denials. She would review my file and call me back and she did. Katrina unraveled my correspondence and gave me expectations based on the status of my claim. Katrina filed my appeal correctly, and even through the delays of Covid I was awarded a 100% VA disability in 2020 back to 2010. Katrina Eagle is very accessible and over the past seven years she has been my only contact; I was never handed off to another associate. I found Katrina knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and very responsive to my case. If you are looking for someone to coddle you or hold your hand she will not, but she is a warrior for your cause."

Not Only A Truly Incredible Attorney To Work With But A Lovely Person To Know

"Since my beloved late husband Phil passed away in 2008, Mrs. Eagle has been not only a truly incredible attorney to to work with but a lovely person to know. For over sixteen long years Katrina assisted me with my VA claim. Not once in those sixteen long years did she ever give up on pursuing the claim for the wrongful death and suffering Phil experienced due to Agent Orange exposure while serving in the Navy during the Vietnam war. Katrina's compassion, knowledge, and guidance were invaluable. She was able to walk me through the complexity of VA forms, jargon, and legal terminology. Having my claim approved really helped lighten my load with losing Phil. I just don't know what I would have done without Mrs. Eagle. I am thankful for the invaluable help she provided me. Veterans and their families are very fortunate to have a legal warrior like Katrina on their side."

I Thank You Again For What You Have Done For Me

"I would like to tell everyone what Mrs. Eagle did for me. It is people like Katrina who are helping our Vets get the support and understanding we need from the Veterans Administration. All we have is our stories of things that happen to us and now I feel that VA is not wanting to tell us the truth when we ask. When, in fact, they do not know themselves. I have the utmost respect for what Katrina does for us and I feel that she gives everyone the same treatment that she gave me. Mrs. Eagle cuts through the chase and gets right down to the problem. I have told everyone know about her and I highly recommend they get in touch with Katrina if they need help. I thank Katrina again for what she has done for me and I hope I can call upon her if I ever need her services again. Katrina, If i can be of service to you please feel free to call on me."

Saved From the Error Prone VA Bureacracy

"I served in the infantry in Vietnam and Cambodia in 1970. My area of operation had been heavily treated with Agent Orange. Later in September 2021 I had been diagnosed with Active Myeloma. I submitted a claim twice to VA for a disability. Each time the VA made errors in the facts and concluded that there was no link between my condition and my service in Vietnam, denying both claims. At this point I contacted the president of the San Diego Multiple Myeloma User Group and asked him to recommend a lawyer. He immediately recommended Katrina Eagle. I submitted my denials to Katrina and she accepted my case. Katrina saw the errors in their logic and submitted a new claim with additional evidence clarifying that Active Myeloma is presumptively associated with Agent Orange. In September 2022 VA approved my higher level claim admitting that there were errors made on their part in the two prior claims. This success could not have been achieved without the knowledge and experience Katrina displayed to deal with VA."

It Is an Absolute Privilege to Recommend Katrina

“I served in the US Army in Vietnam 1967-1968. While working in the Central Highlands and I Corps areas I was exposed to Agent Orange. In January of 2020 I was diagnosed with bile duct cancer. I submitted my VA claim and after several months was denied. Finally, after months of searching for options I contacted Katrina Eagle who was recommended by friends of family members. After reviewing my claim Katrina agreed to pursue the appeal. After several months of working tirelessly, reviewing my complete service record and obtaining a medical expert opinion she successfully got me rated at 100% to include retroactive back pay. It is an absolute privilege to recommend Katrina to those veterans seeking rightly deserved claims and have been denied. Her knowledge and skill on how to navigate the VA system is a plus. I would not have been successful without Katrina.”

True Heroes Fighting For Veterans Like Me!

"I served in United States Air Force from 1970 – 1974. I was stationed at Anderson Air Force Base in Guam from 1971-1973, as fuel specialist. During that time, I was exposed to many different toxic chemicals including Agent Orange. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011 and then two years later with thyroid cancer, the residual effects dramatically affected not only me but my family. After speaking with a representative for the Missouri Veterans Commission, I submitted a claim for exposure to Agent Orange. That claim was immediately denied. After this denial, the representative suggested I seek legal representation and was given the name of Katrina Eagle, Esq. Veterans Law Attorney. Little did I know then the dedication, tenacity and compassion this woman would show me for the next ten years! Over the course of the last ten years, numerous denials, frustrations and moments of utter disappointment and lack of the energy to continue this fight occurred, however Katrina was always there never wavering in her support and encouragement to not give up the fight. The Board of Veterans Affairs (BVA) denied our claims several times, the cases were then submitted to the US Courts of Appeals not once but twice and both times the Courts sent them back to the BVA for review. Thanks to Katrina and Jim Radogna’s continued support, knowledge and empathy for me, I am now at 100% disability. Never could I have imagined this outcome and will forever be thankful for their continuous support and encouragement to never give up the fight!"

Katrina Will Restore Your Honor and Fight For You

"For over three years I tried to get the VA to approve several of my disabilities.  I submitted a one inch thick binder including Agent Orange photos, corroborating witnesses, DoD studies, and military doctors who were experts in their fields.  The VA disapproved my submissions again and again -- even when I went to my Congressman and the VA Inspector General.  Our unit web site listed a lawyer who they said might be able to help.  Katrina Eagle is more than a great lawyer: She really cares about veterans.  In a matter of months, she got me approved for100% disability with seven years back pay. Do not waste three years, like I did, hoping the VA will do the right thing.  Katrina will restore your honor and fight for you to get compensated for the disabilities you received in the service."

Thank You For Everything!

"Katrina Eagle was a godsend and answer to my struggles. After constant denials from the military survivor benefits and treating my husband (deceased) like he didn't exist and years of dragging me around wanting more proof of this & that, I finally found someone at the VFW who said they have done all that they could & gave me Katrina Eagle's contact information. I felt the weight of the world lifted off my shoulder after she took my case. She was always available to answer questions & called or text with how things were proceeding. I can't thank her enough for all that she did for me & I'm truly thankful she had my back. Thank you for everything!"

Look No Further Than The Veterans Law Office of Katrina J. Eagle

“Simply put, Katrina J. Eagle, Esq. saved me from the streets. It took some time. And there were several appeals. But thanks to The Veterans Law Office of Katrina J. Eagle I came out of the streets and into a home after 2 years and one week of being homeless on 21 September 2019. And I’ve been sheltered and have plenty of food to eat ever since. And haven’t had to live in ultimate consummate terror of freezing to death in winter, or having to live out of a dirt floor lawnmower shed again in the August heat, or some abandoned dilapidated pit of filth. In other words, Katrina J. Eagle, Esq. saved me. Likely literally saved my life. if you want a lawyer with a giant legal mind, and a heart equally as big, look no further than The Veterans Law Office of Katrina J. Eagle. Katrina J. Eagle, Esq.. Katrina will go into judicial battle for you with valor and honor where other lawyers have failed you or dare, even refuse, to tread.”

My Advice To You Is Do Not Delay…Call Katrina!

"With the help of the DAV, I tried to get service connection for Asthma with multiple claims. (Burn pit exposure)  This went on for 14-years. Nothing but denials. To say I was frustrated is an understatement. Through a friend I heard about Katrina Eagle. Decided to give her a call. From our first talk, I knew Katrina was caring, competent and freaking tenacious! Was an easy decision to have Katrina represent me for my VA disability claim. However, this wasn’t an ordinary claim. After all the denials I was at the last step before a Board of Veteran’s Appeal judge. Katrina expertly presented my case to the Judge and guided me professionally through this nerve racking process. My result was 100% Permanent and Total with SMC. My advice to you is do not delay…call Katrina!"

Katrina and Her Husband Jim Worked Tirelessly and Diligently On My Case

"I was a Marine stationed for two years at Camp Lejeune NC in the mid 50’s. I drank and bathed in the toxic water there.  The chemicals years later resulted in me getting 3 cancers.  I applied for VA disability benefits but was denied.  I appealed and sent in more documentation.  I was denied again. I was 81 at the time and didn’t have the energy to continue to fight the VA.  But before giving up I googled up attorneys in my area and chose one, namely Katrina Eagle. (Little did I know that I chose the very best and  most highly skilled attorney in the nation for VA issues.). Katrina and her husband Jim worked tirelessly and diligently on my case, relieving me of the stress of dealing with the VA bureaucracy.  Within a year or so she successfully got me rated 100% for monthly disability compensation, including tens of thousands in retroactive benefits.  I strongly recommend Katrina and Jim to any veteran seeking well-deserved benefits from the VA.  My children and I thank you Katrina and Jim.  God bless you both."

You Will Thank Yourself

"It is an absolute privilege to recommend Katrina Eagle. I was stationed at Camp Lejeune in 1973-1974 and I drank and bathed in the contaminated water along with my fellow marines. In 2018 I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. I filed a VA claim, and it was denied despite VA having it on their list of Camp Lejeune conditions for which they would provide no cost medical care. Our VA service commission counselor said we had a strong case, should appeal, and recommended that we speak with Katrina Eagle. Upon our first conversation with her we felt at ease and secure in her solid expertise and genuine care. She had a clear plan for how she would gather the information needed as well as the process to pursue the appeal. Amongst the various actions she took was to obtain a medical expert opinion. When we read the experts opinion we nearly wept in gratitude. Katrina knows precisely how to gather the evidence needed and prepare the case. We felt calm during the process knowing she sincerely had our best interests at heart. She succeeded in obtaining a 100% total and permanent disability, which was the absolute righteous outcome. We would not have been successful on our own. We needed someone who has experience with the system and know how to work within the VA system. She would often explain why we needed to approach something a certain way. At every turn she was skilled, knowledgeable, prepared, precise, as well as kind, thoughtful and respectful. You could feel her compassion for our situation and the injustice. Listening to her you are left with no question as to her absolute commitment to veterans. Katrina is the best of the best and a profound blessing in our lives. If you allow Katrina Eagle help to resolve your VA problem, you will thank yourself later."

You Have a Case!

"You Have a Case!"   Those were the first words I heard from Atty. Eagle!  And only through her hard work, legal acumen and expertise was I able to be approved for a VA disability.  I had first sought the help of the VA case worker in my local office.  It seemed to be going nowhere.  I then sought help from a nationally recognized Veteran's organization.  This seemed to produced results at first, but then stalled.  My case helper finally said, "there is nothing I can do for you".  Somehow, through a search, I discovered Atty. Eagle's name and number. I called her, and she said, what seemed like words from Heaven, "You have a case!" I sent her all my documents and happily signed on as her client.  It took a little time, and Katrina's constant efforts, and then the results came in with a positive result. I could not have been successful without Katrina and Jim leading the charge. They both were absolutely essential to my receiving a positive outcome.  I thank them both every day of my life.  I truly do."

Absolutely The Best!!

"I am a Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veteran. I filed my claim, and was  approved, at 100% P&T. For that, I had another attorney as my  representative, but she had nothing to do with my case... more on that,  to come. Something did not sit right with me, about the effective date of my  claim. I questioned my attorney, and she said, since I was rated 100%,  there was nothing to be done... not true. I learned of Katrina Eagle & Jim Radogna through the BWNVVA... I  knew they were hard-working attorneys, who put the veteran first. I contacted Katrina, and asked her to review my case. She said "Sure  thing", but said I needed to make her my representative. I said no  problem... not quite true. My old attorney did not want to release me...  she said I was not due anything, but she would not release me. That led  me to tell Katrina about the issue. She advised me as to how to  proceed.. It was a long, hard-fought issue, but in the end, my old  attorney released me... with a nasty letter that said I was not ever  going to get any more benefits, anyway... again, wrong answer. As soon as I was released, I made Katrina my VA representative. She and  Jim jumped right on the case, and she said that it looked like VA had  assigned the wrong effective date to my case... the old attorney would  not even review the case. So, Katrina & Jim filed a Clear Unmistakable Error (CUE) with VA.  About 4 months later, VA sent me another $13,000.., WOW!! I was stunned.  Both Katrina & Jim were very happy for me. That was not the end, though. Ticked off that my old attorney had put me  in the situation, she asked my permission to sent her a letter  expressing her displeasure about the way that she had handled my case.  She was exceptionally professional. If you are in need of an experienced legal team, who will go to work for  you, and fight for your benefits, you can do no better, than The Law  Office of Katrina Eagle."

No One Will Fight Harder For You

" I served 4 years in the Air Force and was stationed in Thailand, with TDYs in Vietnam during 1972-3. As a crew chief, I was exposed to hazardous chemicals, fuels, and agent orange working on the flight line, close to the perimeter.  As a result of my service, I was diagnosed with a chronic lung disease and inoperable tumors affecting my kidneys. For 8 years I applied for compensation and was denied again and again. The VA claimed I was never in Vietnam and had destroyed my records proving so. A local television station highlighted my case and put me in touch with Katrina Eagle Veterans law firm. I had one last appeal before a VA judge Katrina and her husband Jim won my final battle with the VA. Not only won but persevered until my rating was 100%. Her determination and expertise in VA rules, regulations and procedures amazed me. No one had worked so diligently at getting to know me and my case as she. It was a heavy battle with the VA, taking a toll on my health and happiness. My family and I will be forever grateful for Katrina Eagle. No matter how beaten down you are with your battles with the VA, I encourage you to contact Katrina Eagle, Veterans Law Attorney. No one will fight harder for you."

Korean War Veteran Approved For 100% Disability

"I served in the army from 1954 to 1956, at the end of the Korean War. I was not aware of the possible benefits of PTSD and hearing loss that I had lived with until 2017. I found out that a veteran doesn't have to be involved in overseas combat to qualify for full benefits, if the facts can be provided to the right personnel.  I was on guard duty while in basic training carrying an unloaded rifle and a flashlight. I heard screaming coming from a two man tent and found our Master sergeant hitting a fellow soldier with a 2X4. No cell phones back then, so I called for help as I battled the sergeant using my rifle like a baseball bat. Help finally arrived, but too late to save my friends life. Three months later our cannon and crew was sent to Louisiana for two weeks of night training. Regulations were found later that every heavy duty vehicle using their small slits of head lights must have two other soldiers walk ahead of them with large flash lights for safety. A tank ran over a two man tent near our cannon and killed two fellow soldiers. Further investigations found most operators of all heavy duty vehicles were not trained or qualified to drive those units. After three days our crew was sent back to South Carolina for regular duty. For three years after 2017, I was denied 100% benefits three different times because the approval team could not find any proof of either event. In less than a year, Katrina produced evidence that a congressional investigation in 1973 found that many commanding officers who had any serious accidents or deaths during my years of service, never filed any reports on those, or when they transferred to a higher position, destroyed all evidence so their commands had no adverse events that might hinder their promotions. During those years, not every soldier had a cell phone to record those types of accidents. She also presented proof that a large fire at the army archives in the mid 70's destroyed 18,000,000 service records of those who served before 1960, and no copies were ever printed. She then presented these reasons there were no records of these events in my service file. With all the legal language at her disposal, I was approved for 100% disability."

I Can Not Recommend Katrina Eagle Veterans Law Firm Strongly Enough

"As a Vietnam veteran and having been exposed to Agent Orange in Thailand during my tour in 1972, I developed ischemic heart disease as well as hearing loss associated with being a fighter crew chief, RF-4C aircraft. As per the norm, the V.A. denied my claim on first attempt. I hired Katrina and her firm to take up the fight for me. Katrina found that the V.A. had overlooked numerous documents proving my presence in Vietnam and Thailand and exposure to A.O. was undeniable. The end result was approval of the claim and I avoided months if not years of rejection and ill feelings for the V.A. . I can not recommend Katrina Eagle Veterans Law Firm strongly enough. Thank you !!!"

Bob

She is a True Godsend For Veterans

"It  is my pleasure to write a few words about my experience with Katrina  Eagle, relative to a VA appeal upon which she represented me. As a  Vietnam Veteran I highly recommend Katrina Eagle to any Veteran who  needs an experienced attorney. In 2018, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's  Disease due to repeated exposure to toxins while serving in the US  Navy. When my initial claim was denied, I was fortunate to find Katrina.  I cannot say enough about Katrina, unlike most law firms she truly  cares about her clients and works tirelessly for them. She is very  professional, punctual, straight to the point. I was pleased with how  responsive she was to my needs, even anticipating my concerns,  apprehensions, and questions - responding to emails and phone calls even  at night and on weekends. She guided me through the process and  explained in detail what steps she intended to take. Katrina is a  highly-trained, incredibly effective attorney, she has a thorough  knowledge of the law, inter-working of the Veterans Administration, and  vast wealth of experience. All of this was topped by being a truly  caring individual whose belief in what she is doing comes through in all  of her work and interactions. You get the feeling your case is more of a  vocation than a job. Katrina is a solid gold individual whom I am proud  to call my attorney, and more importantly my friend. Her empathy and  compassion to all veterans and their families is unparalleled. She is a  true veteran advocate and will fight for what is right for the benefits  that are deserved. I know that I would not have wanted anyone other than  Katrina to represent me. To any veteran out there that is uncertain or  hesitating or needs 'real' assistance with the VA, I can only say 'do  not wait a second longer'. Katrina was successful in getting my appeal  granted. Even though our dealings were always long distance, I consider  the entire experience one of the most gratifying I have ever had. She is  a true godsend for veterans. Both my wife and I will be forever  grateful to her."

Simply the Best!

"After  speaking with numerous law firms who purported to 'help veterans,' not  one would take my case. Then a friend referred me to Katrina Eagle.  Attorney Katrina Eagle demonstrated profound care and empathy for my  case at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Attorney Eagle displayed  incredible legal expertise in VA law as well as passion for helping  veterans whose requests for benefits and treatment for injuries suffered  in combat have been denied by the VA. When  the VA denies a valid claim, or worse, grants benefits and then 6  months later reverses its decision for no apparent reason, veterans who  fought at the sharp end of the spear feel angry, hurt, betrayed and  confused. As enlisted infantry in Afghanistan, I had dealt with the  Taliban up close, but was unprepared to cope with a VA that rather than  support me, caused me more stress than a firefight with ISIS. Attorney  Eagle provides a caring ear even as she represents veterans' interests  before the VS with a clear-headed and straightforward approach to the  law. Katrina's knowledge of the VA and her many contacts throughout the  country make her singularly qualified to represent veterans. Attorney Katrina Eagle changed my life. She took my case without even  meeting me, and began to achieve results almost immediately. While my  case took nearly four years to resolve, she never stopped fighting (even  when I was ready to give up) and achieved a positive outcome on all  fronts. I recommend Attorney Eagle without reservation to any veteran  who needs help getting the VA to do the right thing."

How Could She Help Me?

"I  was working with the local Veterans Affairs in my county for months and  months and I was getting nowhere. My husband died of colon cancer in  2014. He had submitted a claim to the VA and it was denied. It was very  emotional and draining. I talked with our family doctor and explained  the situation and he asked me if it was worth it to put myself through  all of this heartache. He had tried to help his father, but to no avail.  My daughter found Katrina Eagle's name on a website. I really thought  it was hoax. After all, I lived in Tn. and she lived in California. How  could she help me? I contacted her by email and we set up a conference  call between her and my son-in-law and me. After a 45-minute  conversation I was convinced, without a doubt, that she could help me.  She told me that she could win the case and that I did not have to pay  anything up front. A 25% fee would be required when the case was  settled. She could prove even though the VA would not recognize colon  cancer on their list of causes Vietnam War, she could prove that colon  cancer was caused by Agent Orange. I cannot even begin to tell you my  amazement and my appreciation for the integrity and steadfastness that  she applied to my case. I received a cash settlement and I get a monthly  check for the rest of my life which will give me what I need to live  on. Please do not hesitate for a moment to trust her. I guarantee that  you will be most pleased."

Thank You Katrina From the East Coast

"Like  many widows of Vietnam vets I was struggling with life without my  husband, let alone taking on the VA. But following my husband's wishes, I  reached out to Katrina through a reference from the Facebook community  page of Vietnam Vets and Cholangiocarcinoma. Immediately I knew I was in  good, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and caring hands. We were  successful 100% due to Katrina's UNWAVERING PERSEVERANCE. Thank you  from the bottom of 'our' hearts. "

Do Not Wait a Second Longer

"It  is my pleasure to write a few words about my experience with Katrina  Eagle, relative to a VA claim upon which she represented me. I am a  Vietnam vet and I submitted a claim for an Agent Orange related disease  that was not fully recognized by the VA. In fact, I was rejected by the  VA on a couple of previous occasions. Out of frustration and despair  over five years of trying, I took one final action in seeking Katrina's  help before I quit altogether. Almost immediately I felt relieved that I  had a knowledgeable and helpful ally working hard to negotiate the  'bramble' that represents the VA claim process. Katrina coached me on  all the actions that I needed to perform and in accumulation of the  proper documents and evidence. Once submitted again, she kept me  apprised of what to expect and with any news of progress. She was  optimistic the entire time and gave me a real branch to cling to. It was  easy to realize how much knowledge Katrina possesses within the key  areas of the VA and the multitude of process pitfalls. She is a true  professional. Finally, after another VA delay, (but arguably the  shortest path through it) we received our expected settlement decision. I  truly believe that without Katrina's help I would never have had such a  successful outcome. To any veteran out there that is uncertain or  hesitating or needs 'real' assistance in dealing with the VA, I can only  say 'do not wait a second longer'. Even though Katrina and my dealings  were always long distance, I consider the entire experience one of the  most gratifying I have ever had."

Katrina Eagle is an Amazing Veteran Attorney

"My  brother passed away as a result of exposure to herbicide agents while  serving on active duty at the air base in U-Tapao Thailand. After  receiving three years of denials from the Veterans Administration on our  Dependency and indemnity Compensation claim, my sister in law and I  were given Katrina Eagle's contact information from a dedicated Veterans  Service Officer which ended up being an answer to our prayers. We are  very grateful that Katrina Eagle agreed to take our case and help us  understand the VA claim process, timeline, and laws... we knew we were  in good hands after the first phone call. Katrina's knowledge of the  claim and appeal process, VA law, and supporting documentation needed  for a successful award is second to none! Her ability to present to  present my brother's case appeal with a laser focus on facts, supporting  documentation and a medical opinion that she helped secure was amazing!  I will never forget the phone call that I received from Katrina to  notify me that my brother's claim had been awarded. We were very lucky  that we were given Katrina Eagle's contact information and I am writing  this testimonial to pay it forward to others. Katrina is a blessing to  veterans and their families. There are no words that adequately express  the gratitude that my sister-in-law and I have for the guidance,  support, and work that Katrina Eagle did which led to my brother's claim  finally being awarded... so, I will simply say - 'Thank you Katrina!"

Katrina Eagle is an Adamant Protector of Veterans' Rights

"I  had filed a claim with the VA Regional Office in Fox St. I had  contacted numerous attorneys in Philadelphia, PA with no success.  Someone at the local VA hospital gave me the name and number of a lawyer  who represented vets. I called the number and made contact with Katrina  Eagle. She agreed to take my case. In 2012 she won my case. At that  time she told me the VA had shorted me $35,000. After consulting with  Katrina Eagle, we agreed to appeal. In closing, Katrina Eagle is an  ADAMANT PROTECTOR of veterans' rights."

In a Five Star Rating System, I Give Her Ten Stars!

"Katrina  Eagle, as her name implies, is a real bird of prey. If you have her on  your side the VA better take cover. Her years and years as a VA attorney  have given her the experience you need to succeed with your claim to  the VA. She only handles VA clients. As far as I am concerned, that puts  her at the very top of the attorney list. I really don't know if she  wins all of the cases she handles but I am very convinced if she doesn't  win, it's a certainty no other lawyer would win either. I had applied  to quite a few attorney offices, looking for anyone who would handle my  case. Some were too busy, some didn't answer my request, one flatly  turned me down. I was ready to quit when Katrina called me back. I was  ecstatic! A year later my award came through. I was granted 100%,  permanently disabled. This is not to say all her cases come back with  the same ratings but I am convinced she is able to obtain the highest  rating possible for your particular processes, she also knows non-VA  people that can provide the expertise you need to make your case most  likely to succeed. In a five star rating system, I give her ten stars!  She's my heroine and I believe she will rate the same for you!"

Wonderful to Work With

"I  would definitely recommend Katrina Eagle to any vet having trouble with  their VA benefits. I had filed through my local VSO for disability from  diabetes associated with Agents Orange in Thailand. We got denial after  denial from the VA until my VSO was throwing her hands up from  repeatedly filing. I asked her if I should maybe get a lawyer and she  smiled, said it was a good idea, and told me about Katrina. I went home  and called her. Katrina called me back in a very short time. I explained  my case to her and she immediately took it on. After several phone  calls and forms I was sitting back waiting. Katrina decided to move me  into the fast track as the VA opened up a new appeals process. It wasn't  long and I received their decision. We had won. Thank you Katrina, you  were wonderful to work with."

Devoted Veteran Attorney

"If  you are fortunate enough to have Katrina accept your case, your battle  with the VA has an excellent chance of being won. After several years of  submitting document after document from doctors, clinics, support  letters from family and friends regarding my husband's AS, we turned to  Katrina for help. Along the way we even managed to retrieve 6 pages of  documentation from the Mayo Clinic from 1966 which we felt tied my  husband's medical issue back to his service in Vietnam. Having been a  gunner on a CH37 and a helicopter mechanic, Tom like many others was  exposed to Agent Orange. To watch a kind, sweet husband of 45 years  become disabled with painful paralysis of his spine, shoulders, ankles  not to mention his eyes is heartbreaking at the very least. It was only  when Katrina began working on Tom's case that we felt hopeful. Katrina's  vast experience with the VA, her knowledge of VA case law combined with  her determination and pit bull attitude is a winning combination. Her  heart is in the right place and she is a devoted advocate for veterans.  After almost a 5 year battle my husband received 100 percent disability  and all of the benefits he is entitled to. Katrina Eagle is an angel  sent from above to help so many veterans in need of support and  assistance with their claims."

Exceptional Amazing Attorney!!!

"My  husband's VA case was filed in 2007(he was an attorney so he started it  but became too ill and hired Katrina). Immediately I knew we were in  extremely competent and caring hands! Katrina stayed on top of every  detail and answered every question. My husband passed away before the  decision and I relied on Katrina through every denial and heartbreaking  move of the VA. She helped hire a medical expert to get the case on  track and between her exceptional work and that of a terrific doctor,  they turned the case into a win. She stayed with us over many years  fighting every inch of the way. Katrina gave me hope and ultimately the  case was won. My only regret is that my husband can't write this review  and say THANK YOU KATRINA - YOU ARE AN AMAZING ADVOCATE FOR VETERANS!"

Vietnam Success Story

"In  May 2016, we contacted the VA in our county to ask if my husband's  cancer could be connected to Agent Orange. His type of cancer was not on  the list of cancers caused by the use of Agent Orange in Vietnam. We  contacted Katrina Eagle and she agreed to take our case and help my  husband. She kept in touch and walked me through the forms that needed  to be filled out. She called several times to let us know how things  were moving along. In December 2016, my husband was granted full  disability and received a check which included back pay from the day he  was diagnosed. Katrina Eagle is the most caring person and is dedicated  to working for our veterans. My husband was able to see the results. He  passed away in April 2017. He was a loving husband, fantastic father and  grandfather and was always proud to be a Vietnam veteran. He loved his  country. Thank you Katrina for all your hard work and moving the process  along so quickly. God Bless!"

To All My Fellow Veterans

"If  you are having problems with VA and getting the run around like I did,  now is the time to stop and think about is it you or the VA? In my case I  tried to do it myself and kept getting denied!!! Finally I asked a  friend how he got his 100 percent, after 8 years of trying myself!!!! He  gave me Katrina Eagle's phone number and told me to give her a call.  One of the few things I've done right in my life (70 years) was when I  called her. You'll probably get an answering machine, but give her your  name and phone number and she does get right back to you. I was  pleasantly surprised when sh called me back so soon being I was living  in Indiana and she was in San Diego California. When she took my case  things started happening right away. Kept me informed of what was going  on, plus got me back benefits from my previous claims that I made myself  and she charged me nothing. Within 2 years of hiring her to represent  me was granted 100 percent. Warning, do not talk to VA without telling  her or she will correct you like you're in the Service again. No kidding  guys, call her if you want your life to change for the better!!!! Plus  she is now one of my true friends. On a scale of 1 to 10 she is 10+."

Testimonial for Katrina Eagle, Esq.

"From  my first introduction to Katrina Eagle, I was pleased with how  responsive she was to my needs, even anticipating my concerns,  apprehensions and questions - responding to emails and phone calls even  at night and on weekends. Katrina is a highly-trained, incredibly  effective attorney not only with her thorough knowledge of the law but  also with her organizational skills, mastery of the English language,  inter-working of the Veterans Administration, contacts and vast wealth  of experience. All of this was topped by being a truly caring individual  who's belief in what she is doing comes through comes through in all of  her work and interactions. You get the feeling your case is more of a  vocation than a job. Ms. Eagle is a solid gold individual whom I am  proud to call my attorney, and more importantly my friend. She worked an  uphill appeal for me in a bureaucratic government agency toward a  successful end result in a very acceptable span of time, which I never  thought possible."

Attorney Katrina Eagle

"After  twice being denied by the VA appeal process, I was about to give up on  my claim for Agent Orange exposure. I decided to try one last time, with  the help of VA attorney Katrina Eagle. She knew how to cut through the  red tape and secure all the benefits that I deserved, I am convinced her  expertise, and relentless pursuit of the facts in my case, are the  reasons I finally prevailed. If you want to win, go with Katrina Eagle!"

Special Thanks

"There  is hardly a day that doesn't go by that I don't count my blessings in  finding you (Katrina Eagle) in successfully litigating my claim for  exposure to Agent Orange during my tour in Vietnam. I initially  submitted my VA claim for compensation in 2001 for throat cancer  (Squamous Cell Carcinoma)... Over the next 20 years, I experienced  countless requests for additional medical documentation and written  letters from my doctors that supported my VA claim, which I provided to  the VA. Over the following years, I received numerous denials from the  VA. but although feeling rejected and hopeless, thankfully, I elected to  keep my claim opened. Until luckily the day, at one of my weekly Vet to  Vet meetings, a fellow veteran suggested I should seek legal counsel.  After searching for an attorney that specialized in veteran's  compensation claims, I found and contacted Katrina Eagle. First  impression of Katrina reviewing my claim, I was impressed with her  thorough knowledge on how the VA Board of Veteran's Appeals works, she  knew their language, a major plus! With her professional legal guidance,  she was able to achieve 100% disability benefit rating on my behalf.  When I hear of other veterans that are struggling in trying to process  their own personal VA appeal, I automatically don't hesitate to  recommend Katrina J. Eagle, a very competent/experienced legal  professional who has won numerous cases for her clients she represents.  After serving my country honorably, I give thanks to the special people  that work on our behalf in successfully acquiring all the medical  benefits and disability compensation we are entitled to, Thank You,  Katrina."

Thank you Katrina

"I  first filed my claim through a veterans advocacy organization in 2003.  Though most advocacy groups know how to get your claim started, it has  been my experience that they do not know all the intricacies of the laws  that govern the VA claims process. After four and a half years of  frustration I met Katrina, she took over my case and pointed out all the  things that were right with my case and all the things that were wrong  with the case. In my case, it was not finalized until December of 2014.  The VA has publicly stated that the claims process is "non-adversarial"  and though it is less adversarial than say a criminal adjudication, it  has been my experience that it is NOT non-adversarial.
